Back at the time, it was pretty hard get the opportunity to work at Meyer Werft’s; they were treating the unit “Oriana” for the owner P&O and Navalimpianti Tecnimpianti managed to win its first order with the German shipyard for  the design and supply of the valves remote control system.

It was 1995 when the ship was delivered, at the time the most modern passenger ship in the world.

The docking of our group at the historical Chantiers de l’Atlantique – the pride of French shipbuilding, protagonists of several turns over in the years from Aker Yards first to the Korean STX Shipbuilding and later back again to CdA, dates back to the second half of the ’90s.
