Skydome Sliding Covers

While cruising the world, various weather conditions occur (just think about moving from cold Alaska to steamy Caribbean).

How can a cruise ship be ready to face them all? The Skydome created by Navim Group is the answer. It can solve outside deck acclimatizing problems thanks to its motorized glass roof cover. The Skydome is an exceptional architectural signature of a cruise vessel, tailored on each ship according to the most advanced structural design and technology.

Skydome Sliding Covers represent an exceptional added value allowing a multi-seasonal full employment of the ship. The sliding glass covers are composed of sliding panels, each of which having a welded plating alloy structure on which the glass sheets are mounted underside the panels. Gear-motors consent the movement of the panels forwards and afterwards.

So far our Skydomes have reached clear openings of 30m. It is strong and resistant: in case of heavy rain, there is no risk of water leakage thanks to the application on the Skydome of a unique system of “active seals”, originally developed for Navy ships.
