Among the works of absolute relevance is the design and manufacture of a revolutionary automatic securing mechanism to be used with the FOLS system (Fixed Outboard Launching System) realized for the 30 life and tenderboats for 150 people of the “Carnival Dream” built by Fincantieri Monfalcone and delivered in September 2009.
The FOLS fixed launching system type is designed for a particular ship’s design allowing to install the boats (tenderboats or lifeboats up to 300 people) in a fixed position outboard below the protrusion of the promenade deck. On the two “Carnival Dream” sisterships, the “Carnival Magic” and the “Carnival Breeze”, the group supplied the automatic system for the FOLS of the 18 life/tenderboats.
