Navim Group is present with its equipment on Norwegian Aqua, ordered to Fincantieri by Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) delivered from the Marghera Shipyard in March 2025; it is the third of six vessels from Norwegian Cruise Line’s (NCL) new Prima Class of ships.Along with her sister-ships, “Norwegian Viva” will form the backbone of the future NCL fleet, at 143,000-tons, almost 300 meters long, and accommodating approximately 3,100 guests.

The Prima Class offers an innovative configuration for an elevated passenger experience. Additional focus was set on energy efficiency, with the twofold aim of optimizing consumption at sea and reducing environmental impact, compliant with all the most recent regulations on this matter.

On Norwegian Aqua Navim Group provided the design, engineering, supply, manufacturing, and final commissioning of a complete range of access and handling systems to fulfill the needs of loading and offloading passengers, crew, provisions and spares such as Shell Doors & Observation Platforms, Side Shell Hatches and Doors, Provision and Luggage Platforms Hydraulically and/or Manually Operated.

Navim Group has also designed, engineered and successfully delivered the Semigravity Davits System for Life Boats (355 persons capacity) and the Semigravity Davits System for Rescue Boats (60 persons capacity).

The concept design, engineering, construction and commissioning of safely and easily operating Windows Washing Machines are also provided by Navim Group.
