Navalimpianti USA, Inc. (Navim US) was established in South Florida in 1993, as the U.S. branch for Navalimpianti and Tecnimpianti Italy maintenance and service. Specifically, Navim US was formed in order to service the burgeoning cruise industry. Today, located in Fort Lauderdale and staffed with over 30 highly qualified personnel, it continues to grow every year. Navim US has become one of the most important driving forces for the Navim Group.

In its modern offices and innovative workshop, Navim US is considered a reference point for the service and maintenance of lifesaving appliances. It’s unique location and local expertise allows Navim US to service up to 80 cruise ships on an annual basis, representing about 75% of the entire cruise market.

Navim US offers full-service overhaul of accumulators, winches, davit arms, and more with its state-of- the-art sandblast, paint, and metalizing booths located directly in its workshop. They also host week-long “Davit Riding Team” training sessions in their facilities, offering owners the ability to send employee teams to learn directly at the source with the manufacturer. By employing in-house, Lloyd’s Register certified welders, Navim US can perform welding both on-board and in-workshop to meet each customer’s needs.

In the Navim US warehouse, storage of wires for different davits permit them to serve customers with on-time delivery of wire falls for Life Saving Appliances. Navim US offers reeling, measure and cut tooling, a traction bench, vessel tracking via a continually updated ship database, and certification procedures. Their 10,000 square foot (930 square meter) warehouse stores a large spare parts inventory, as well as testing equipment and measuring instruments to maintain the safety of all Navim products.

In 2007, Navim expanded its traditional business by incorporating the Italian company Light & Sound SpA (L&S) into its business. Today, the L&S division is strong and growing, with Navim US at its strategic hub. Navim US offers a full range of products specially targeted to the cruise industry, ranging from dimming systems to all electric and electronic safety systems. In addition, it provides full-service design and integration for all AV and lighting needs.

Navim US celebrated its 25 th Anniversary in October 2018. Their strategic location close to South Florida ports, with a beautiful office space and large warehouse capable of handling all jobs, will ensure that the next 25 years are a success as well!
